Telegram bot

Hule has a Telegram bot (@hule_bot) that you can use to:

• Receive notifications in Telegram.
• View and manage tasks through commands.
• Log in to Hule using Telegram.

Connecting your account

1. Open Telegram and search for @hule_bot.
2. Start a chat and send /start.
3. The bot replies with a link to connect your Hule account.
4. Click the link (or open it in your browser) and authorise the connection.
5. Your Telegram identity is now linked to Hule.

Once connected, you can receive notifications in Telegram (configure which in Settings → Notifications → Telegram).

Bot commands

Command	What it does
/start	Welcome message and connection instructions
/today	Shows tasks due today in your default workspace
/inbox	Shows unassigned tasks or tasks needing attention
/done	Mark a task as done (the bot guides you through selection)
/summary	Request an immediate workspace summary (completed vs open tasks)
/settings	Opens notification settings and account management
/unlink	Disconnects your Telegram from Hule

Commands are scoped to your default workspace. If you're in multiple workspaces, use the bot's inline buttons to switch.

Notifications via Telegram

After connecting, enable Telegram notifications in Settings → Notifications. You choose which event types go to Telegram:

• Task assignments
• Comments and mentions
• Status changes
• Due date reminders

Telegram notifications respect quiet hours — they're queued during your quiet period and delivered after it ends.

Logging in with Telegram

You can also use Telegram as a login method:

1. On the Hule login page, click Sign in with Telegram.
2. You're redirected to Telegram's login widget.
3. Authorise the connection.
4. You're logged in — no email or password needed.

If you already have a Hule account with the same email, they're automatically linked.

Unlinking Telegram

To disconnect Telegram from your Hule account:

• From Telegram: send /unlink to the bot.
• From Hule: go to Settings → Account → Linked accounts and click Unlink.

Unlinking doesn't delete your account — you can continue using Hule through other methods. You'll stop receiving Telegram notifications.
